We arrived at the dock and the guy, Percy looked at the water for a while, then he picked a spot and told me to jump. Holy cow! What was he thinking? This spot looks like fifteen deep from the surface to the sand below. I eyed him suspiciously, and asked :" Whadda ya want from me?"
He gave me a half-hearted smile and said:" Jump. Kiddo, nothing will happen to you, and if anything happened to you, I will save you."
I hate when people call me kiddo, it's what the class bully used to call me in grade five. My eyes changed color, from sea green to a misty grey. This is what happens when I get upset, my eyes change color. I yell:" Back off!!!"
Suddenly three bolts of lightening struck the earth beside me. Percy was caught off guard and his clothes caught on fire. In a spit second, three jets of water shot at me, willed by Percy. I willed the water jets into a ball and send it back at Percy. Percy was stunned by this move and was knocked out of balance onto the ground. I panted from doing those things. Then I fainted.
