Naoto went up to the roof top where Chie usually spends time after school. "Oh hey Naoto-kun!"
Chie was eating some instant ramen with some steak in it waving, as she waved a green necklace was over her outfit. "Chie-senpai...don't tell me you're into this idea of these cheap trinkets keeping you from gaining weight is real do you?"
"Well, I didn't think so at first, but they had this infomercial on with Tanaka, he had two girls come up, weighed them and gave one the necklace, and the other not, they were allowed to binge as much as they wanted, the one girl who didn't have the necklace had a bloated stomach and the girl that did was normal!"
"Senpai, they could have easily edited it, or they could have been hand picked actors for their metabolism. You can't believe everything you see on TV."
"Yeah but I got it yesterday, I ate so much steak that I should have been bloated but I wasn't! I was still, well AS THIN." Chie said admitting she wasn't Yukiko when it came to figures.
"I honestly won't buy it, it's scientifically impossible to not gain weight." Naoto said.
"It's also impossible for a world inside a TV to exist!" Chie said.
"Not if you consider the theory of the Multiverse that there can and or is be an infinite numbers of realities."
"Well maybe we live in the one that these necklaces work." Chie replied.
Naoto sighed, there was just no reasoning with this girl about it. "Sides, maybe you should look into it."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Naoto said glaring at her friend.
"Well...you're not as skinny as you used to be." Chie said being frank about it, Naoto obviously not pleased by that statement, turning around and walking away.
"I'll see you later...SENPAI." Naoto said forcing the end, obviously mad that Chie said something like that.
Naoto poked her stomach, soft but not bulging out or anything, Chie must think a single pound is five. "Didn't know Chie senpai was like the rest."
Naoto walked to her locker, she glanced over seeing the obese bitch of the school Hanako who also had one of the necklaces and was eating half her weight in food. Naoto shook her head as she left the school. She didn't realize the truth behind these necklaces and what effect they were having on the one girl not wearing one.
