Chapter #2

Sonic

All was quiet in Station Square. Sonic was sleeping peacefully in his bed, a gentle breeze coming in fro the open window. But something else also came in through the window. A shadowy figure silently crept through and walked over to Sonic's bed. It stared hungrily at Sonic as he slept, unaware of the horror that was about to begin. The creature licked its chops as it bent over and prepared to feast.

Sunlight poured into Sonic's room. As Sonic opened his eyes he immediately closed them. It felt like his eyes were on fire. He reached into a drawer a pulled out a pair of sunglasses. He put them on and went into the bathroom. He looked itno the mirror and saw two marks on his neck. "What the?" He said. As he examined the marks his doorbell rang. "Coming!" He yelled as he went to the door.

When he answered, Tails was there. "Hi Sonic. Nice shades." Said Tails. "Thanks. Did you eat breakfast yet?" Asked Sonic. "No." Said Tails. "Well I was going to go to the diner in town, want to come?" Said Sonic. "Sure." Said Tails. When they got to the diner Sonic ordered steak and eggs. When it got to the table the steak was undercooked. Normally Sonic would have sent it back, but when he saw blood coming out from the bottom he suddenly was hungrier then before.

He picked up the steak and bit it. He sucked every last drop of blood from it. Tails stared at him in a odd way. "Are you OK Sonic?" He asked. "I'm fine." Said Sonic, getting up and going home.
