Felix can't escape her grisp: he isn't enough strong and this creature won't let go away her tasty prey. He can
also see the remains of the cow she chewed and it digusts him. But, it is better to die now than continuing to face the
cruelty of Lord William. At the moment when she was going to drop him in her mouth before closing it, he tells
her something.
"Thanks to stop my long pain. Even if I will suffer in your stomach, it won't last for many years." he says with a
little smile. This stops the little giantess who brings Felix to her face in order to understand what he means.
"What? Why thanking me? Normally, you all should scream and flee in order to not being caught. Do you

"Yes, I know. But after being mistreated for five years as a slave, I don't mind to die." he explains
"A slave? What is it? Please tell me, little snack." she says
"A slave is a person without rights and freedom who has to obey to his master all his life. Many persons only consider a
a slave as an object meant to serve them as they want, although they are cruel against the slaves. It doesn't matter if the
slave contests, the master is always right and can decide how lives his slave." he says with a sad face
"But why?! You are a human too. They can't do this to a member of their specie, it is forbidden!" she says with surprise
"Unfortunately, I learnt that humans can be cruel. My horrible life began 5 years ago, when my parents sold me. I remember
that guards told me my parents considered me as a nuisance and wanted to be freer. So, I think that solding was the best way.
The more the time was spending, the more I was renoucing to live if I have to serve a cruel man as him all my life. So, don't worry.
You can eat me if I am tasty, I don't deserve to exist. I understand that you don't like too living here, so enjoy your meal if my corpse
can feed you." Felix says by closing his eyes.
Even if he knew a guard less mean than the other ones, he saw him a very few and was often insulted by guards and other slaves.
He feels that she lowers her hand, it is probably to aim her mouth. You expect to feel after her slimy tongue and her saliva but,
instead, you feel something else warm and not slimy. Felix opens his eyes and sees that he is kindly pushed against a long dark
purple surface: it is the skin of the giant mist elf. With the position of her hands, he supposes she is trying to cuddle him.
"Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. I shoudn't have done it. Forgive me. I didn't know that you spent many bad moments with these mean humans.
You don't deserve to be eaten. I was very bad this time and I insulted you. I am very sorry. These other humans are the real villains, not
you." she says by crying a little with a sincere tone.
It is understandable: she is still a child and probably never met slaves or saw what mean humans are able to do to their similar one.
At least, she knew a mother who probably loved her and warned her against humans even if they are their preys.
"Thanks for telling me this, erh... What is your name?" he asks
"Hazina, I am Hazina. And you, little sna... no little human." she aks by getting you away from her skin to put you in her right palm
"Felix. If you don't want to eat me Hazina, can you take all cows and let me leave with the cart please. I am afraid of my futur punishment
if I don't come back quickly." he tells her
"But, I don't know if you come. I would know what is this place and why I am here. Please, tell me Felix. Don't let me alone" she begs him
"I can't now but I will do it the next time, I promise." he tells her with determination
"Don't forget it please. I don't like this place." she tells him before emptying the cart to give it back to the boy. He returns to the door of her
cell and opens it with the key. But she asks him a last thing before leaving.
"How old are you?" she asks him
"I am 10 years old, and you?" he asks too
"I am 8 years old. I hope you won't forget your promise." she says by smiling a little. It is a little strange to see a girl younger BUT bigger than
him, she could have swallowed him easily.
"I definitely come back." he says before going out the cell, closing the door with the key and leaving the room. In a certain way, he is a little
happy to be still alive.
During his walk, he meets someone in armor.
