This choice: Weeks pass, and nothing out of the ordinary happens. • Go Back...Chapter #7Just the same old stuff. by: Unknown As the weeks passed, Inari had gotten to know Felix quite a bit more, though they made sure that no one took notice of their talks. During this time, the only thing that had changed was the Felix. Because of Inari giving him some of the food, he looked fitter than before, though one would have to look closely to make sure of that, and no one took notice of the slaves, so why would anyone take a closer look at one? Inari had come to the conclusion that it was indeed Felix that she was searching for, as there had been nothing new happening inside, or outside the castle. During one of their talks, Felix told her that he had no memory of his parents, nothing from before he was five years of age at all. He had been a slave since then, and Inari could tell that this saddened him, so she was always quick to give him a hug to bring him out of his loneliness. At first whenever she hugged him, Felix was surprised, but he grew to like the hugs, though he wished she wouldn't try to hug him in her kitsune mode. Those usually ended up with him being tackled to the floor, something he could do without. So all Inari had to do was tell Felix of the conclusion she came to, about him being the one she was searching for. It was just a quirk of chance that they had met on the first day, but it was a good thing. Because of Inari being there, Felix had regained some of his fire, and had started to formulate new plans of escape, some of which he told Inari, just to amuse the two during their talks. It was getting close to time when Felix was to bring Inari her food, and she waited at her usual spot, curled up with her eyes looking towards the door, and she watched eagerly, though she hid that well, as it opened up and a familiar cart rolled in. Felix followed it soon after, and something seemed a bit different than usual about him. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
