You took one of the gadgets and spoke in your native language, and instantly you appeared on your ship. [For human purposes, all alien speech will be translated into human English for your entertainment in this chapter.]
"Ugh, damn humans," you say, finding a seat. One of your lower level cadets, whom you are good friends with, walked up to you. "I must say though, this body is pretty attractive by human standards. Consider yourself lucky."
"Yeah...so, what's the plan now?" you ask. You were first officer of the ship, second only to the captain himself.
"You can go ahead and shed that body for now, but leave the device used to keep her mind unconscious. We will run confidential tests on it, and when it's over, we want you to live this human female's life."
"You want me to what?" you ask him.
"We've seen how they honor these higher-ranking humans. But we need to see how these higher-ranking humans live. We will beam you back inside her house once the tests are over, and you are to live this woman's life."
"Sir," you begin.
"I know you prefer the male species for when we do these kinds of tests. But, you've always been in the male sex on every planet we've done this to. This time, you will be a female. A human female."
As soon as the conversation finished, a human male appeared on the ship, known by humans as Tony Parker. The captian looked at you. "This is the mate of the human female you are going to live as."
An Ensign left the body as it was also taken into testing; now both bodies were being tested on. The Ensign opened it's mouth to speak. "Sir, why must I be a male? I'm better at being female."
Soon, the same conversation you had with your captain went on with the Ensign.
Later, the bodies were finished tested on, and the punctured holes were healed, and the bodies look as if nothing ever happened to them. "Hop into these bodies and we will beam you into the house of this woman and man."
You sighed, irritated, and used the device, and became the woman known as Eva Longoria, while the Ensign became the woman's husband, Tony Parker.
