"I know, how about we pretend you're my little sister instead of my little brother?"
"But imma boy," Kelos found himself saying. This was how he remembered it, objecting a bit, but Ori convinced him fairly quickly. This time too, he resolved to go along with Cally time.
"Right, but we'll make believe you're a girl," Ori explained. "Then you can be my younger sister." She picked up a light blue dress that was hidden just out of the young Kelos' sight. "You'll look pretty just like me!"
"Make beweive imma girw?"
"Yes, lets get you properly dressed." she helped Kelos remove his boy clothes, and then helped put her old dress on him, followed my matching socks and shoes. His hair was already on the long side for a boy, so Ori simply gave it a more feminine style. Satisfied, she led Kelos to a mirror. "So what do you think, little sister?"
Looking back wasn't a little boy, but a little girl. The dress fit perfectly, white lace around the sleeves and hem gave a sense of girlish innocence. "I'm pwetty!"
"You are! You make a very pretty girl. And a pretty girl needs a pretty name." Orianna didn't even pause to think. "While you're dressed like this, you'll be my little sister Princess Cally."
"Pwinseth Cawy?" Kelos found himself repeating.
"Yes, but let's work on that a bit too."
With that, Kelos felt the world begin to fade away once more. As the world faded back in, Kelos found himself not back at the carriage but in Xarlet's storage room. Again he looked at his body, and seemed to be about nine. He then noticed something in his hand. Turning it over, he saw a silver amulet with a glowing red gemstone in the center. Two naked figures, one male, one female surrounded the stone, the male figure standing upright, but the female figure upside down. Kelos remembered this day very well. No matter how much he tried to forget it, it was indelibly etched into his memory. He had put the amulet on, unaware of its magical nature, and it had turned him into a girl. Worse, he kept it a secret, since he feared he would get in trouble. Only many months later when "she" had her first period did it come out. Xarlat was able to reverse the effects of the amulet, but had it been any longer transforming back may have been impossible.
