This choice: Kelos puts the amulet on. • Go Back...Chapter #8Kelos puts the amulet on. by: Lil'lily The scribe did warn him about changing history, and everything did work out in the end... Kelos took a deep breath and placed the amulet around his neck. A red light filled the room, and as he had before, the nine year old Kelos again transformed into a girl. Having not yet hit puberty, she looked just as he did before, yet Kelos could feel the difference in her crotch. She then took the amulet off and examined it again. The gemstone was no longer glowing, and the male and female figures had reversed positions. Kelos didn't remember that detail, but then she never really examined the amulet closely after transforming. She remembered trying to put it back on, only for nothing to happen. Then she hid the amulet just before Ori found her.
"Kelos, there you are!" a girl's voice called out. "You know you're not supposed to play in here!"
Kelos turned to face her sister. "I was just..." At this point she paused. In her memories, she hid the amulet before Ori found her. But this time, she was holding it out in the open to examine it!
"What do you have there?" the older sister marched over and took the amulet out of Kelos' hand. As she did, the gem again started glowing. "This is... Kelos this..." She grabbed Kelos my the arm. "We need to go to my room now!"
"Wait, Ori! Stop!" Kelos called out, yet her sister was undeterred. This isn't how it happened! It seemed a simple thing, but history had been changed!
After dragging Kelos to her room, Ori locked the door and closed all the shutters over the windows. She then turned to face her younger sibling. "Kelos, did you put this amulet on?"
The way Orianna reacted once she saw the stone glow when she held it seemed to point to her knowing what it was. Kelos could try lying, but it was unlikely to work. Still, she couldn't just let history be changed while she was a girl! The first time around she barely was changed back in time. This time, who knows? But then again, Ori could help her become a guy again now, meaning there would be no issues going forward, right? But this was Orianna, so it was equally if nor more likely she'd try to keep her a girl. Kelos looked up at her impatient sister. If she was going to try to lie her way out, she needed to do so quickly. | Members who added to this interactive story also contributed to these: |
