She sat on him

With a sudden thud, Cody found himself trapped beneath his mother's weight. The pressure pressed down on him, squeezing the air from his lungs. He wriggled and squirmed, but it was futile against the force bearing down on him. The weight was overwhelming, suffocating.

In a last-ditch effort, Cody cried out for help, his voice muffled by the fabric of the bedspread. But his mother remained unaware, absorbed in her task of tidying his room. With each passing moment, Cody's struggles grew weaker, his energy drained by the crushing weight above him.
