"What's this...?" Ian mumbles, hitting the 'Ghost' option. The character model turned a translucent blue, and the text 'Ghost mode - character becomes a ghost, able to temporarily possess other individuals' floated on the bottom screen in small, pixelated font.
"Sure, why not." Ian said, hitting the confirm button. Both screens flashed white... and Ian noticed a feeling of weightlessness.
"Huh?" He looked down at himself, seeing that he was completely blue, clothes and all, partially transparent, and floating a few inches off the ground. "The fuck?"
After floating back and forth for a few seconds, getting comfortable with his new motion capabilities, Ian flies off down the street.
"This is so cool!" Ian exclaimed, noticing that not one person even looked at him while he did. "Wait a minute... didn't the game say I could possess people?"
Ian surveyed the street - it was morning, and there were a lot of people milling about. Men and women in suits walking to their offices for work, school students running to the bus stop... a few people were just casually walking and talking, having nowhere to rush to.
"Hmm... " Ian thought to himself. He noticed the DS, game included, had gone with him into his ghostly state. And, it looked like, it was still working. "What to do..."
