Her foolish sister thought that banishing her would teach her a lesson, no doubt. Perhaps she was right, but not in the way she had desired. Blackfire once again attempted to break free of her cuffs. Naturally they still didn't break.
She had turned to crime as a means of survival. Before it had simply been a way to enjoy herself. Without the shelter or funds of Tamaran, however, she had no choice.
And now she stood in front of a court in some star system she barely remembered the name of. Blackfire had been caught trafficing a powerful narcuatic. With her ability to fly through space without a ship, she was the perfect carrier. Until she got caught, that is, but that went without saying, really.
"Blackfire of Tamaran, you have been found guilty of the possession and selling of trasower. By the decree of this counsel, you are to be given a dose of your own product and sent into the care of your younger sibling," one of those being said. Blackfire's eyes widened and she slammed her cuffed hands down.
"You can't do that to me!" she yelled. "I won't be subjected to such an indignity! I would rather be put to death!" It was the truth. Being dosed or being sent to Earth in itself would have been bad. Both of them was...well, it was terrible! Unthinkable!
Before she could protest further, however, she felt a sharp pain in her back. Whirling around, she saw the red skinned alien remove the needle he had used from her. Her eyes widened, realizing the drug was already in her system. It was too late to stop it. Already she began to feel a little giddy and she had to fight to remember why she should be so upset. Unforutnately, Tamaranians had a rather unique reaction to trasower. Aside from being temprorarily high and permanently weakened, Blackfire would also...
