"Sure, why not?" Robb responded.
"Okay, cool."
A few moments later, the entire house shook violently.
"What the hell was that?" Robb asked, looking up at Adam.
"Probably just a few of the guys returning with crates from your ship." He stood up and looked outside. "Yep." A few seconds later, a few more returned, shaking the house to its' core.
"Um, this is probably going to continue for a few hours or so," Adam cautioned. "I'm going to go lie down for a while." He stood up, placing Robb in his chair. "You tired, too?"
"Well, no," Robb replied. "But, if you want the company, I could stay with you."
"All right." Adam then picked the man up again and carried him to his room, where he placed him in a recliner. "There. You should be safe here."
The child laid down in his bed, as Robb tried to get comfortable in the oversized chair. Just then, another boy slammed down from the sky, shaking the earth again.
"How do you sleep like this? With all of the noise outside?" Robb asked.
"You get used to it," he replied.
Over the next few hours, while Adam slept, Robb tried to ignore the pounding outside, as the boys returned, then took off again. Eventually, after shifting in his seat and being able to block some of the noise out, he drifted off to sleep.
*****************************
It was nighttime. Robb was still sleeping in the recliner, when Adam came in and woke him up. "Hey, the party's already started." He jabbed the man lightly in the stomach, driving all the air from his lungs, but also succeeding in waking him up, too.
Robb opened his eyes, stretching. He looked up at the massive child.
"I thought I'd let you sleep a little bit longer," Adam said, picking him up and walking towards the front door. "Now come on. You're the reason we have the party."
The two walked outside and the cool night air hit Robb in the face, waking him up a little bit. As they approached the other boys, the man could see most of them sitting around a bonfire, dancing, playing instruments, some even singing. As Adam approached them, they all stopped and looked up at him.
"I present to you," Adam said, holding Robb above his head with both hands. "The man who made this celebration possible: Adam!" He then passed the tiny man to the person on his left, ignoring Robb's cries of protest. After that person was done with him, that person then passed Robb to another boy. And so on. It was like show and tell.
Does something happen to Robb while he's being passed around?
