"A very curious situation I find myself in," Rose begins as she calmly steps out of your duffel bag and to your dorm room desk. "I feel no different than I normally do, but from my perspective, I would estimate my height to be approximately thirteen centimeters. Did you achieve this effect with a manifold manipulation of the immediate time space continuum?"

Rose's preternatural calmness, coupled with her use of physics terminology you have no understanding of, catches you completely off guard. You find yourself telling Rose your adventures in gaining the shrinking gun, and your decision to shrink her (leaving out your sexual fantasies concerning a shrunken Rose),

Rose calmly nods through your discourse and asks questions about you personally along the way. You discover some things about Rose as well.

Rose is Doctor Rose Olsen, a twenty-five year old post-doctoral student in theoretical physics who had come to work with Doctor Wexler. She had just moved here and was going to meet with Doctor Wexler in the next few days. After hearing of Wexler's fate, she wryly observes that she doubts she will be getting that meeting.

To your delight, she admits that she's had fantasies about being shrunken to her present height, as long as her giant captor treated her gently. You honestly assure that you won't be anything but gentle.
