"I better book it!" Wally said running as fast as his ill body would allow, having only grabbed the pokeballs containing Gardevoir and Altaria.
Along the way he passed a small stream and came across a injured Marill, which seemingly lost a battle of somesort.
"Mari marill mar!" it cried in pain, holding it's injured chest.
Wally stopped and inspected it, the wound looked nasty, to say the least. "Oh man, this doesn't look good..."
He looked through his bag and found a Water stone, A few useless berries, and a Pokeblock case. Wally looked at the suffering Water-Type and felt distressed, he didn't think he could get it to a Pokemon center in time...
"Oh no, what should I do?" hev asked himself as he picked Marill up.
"Maybe I can help." Offered a feminine voice, Wally turned to see a red haired woman with glasses. Lorelei of Kanto's Elite Four. She then produced a Max Potion and healed the damaged Marill, which responded with a sigh of relief. "It'll be a couple hours, but your Pokemon will be fine."
"Actually Ms. Lorelei, I didn't catch this one yet, I just found it."
“Really? Well you look as if your very fond of it for someone who just found it. May I ask what your name is?”
“Wally.” Wally said, cradling the resting azure pokemon, “Actually I heard you’d be in town and wanted to meet you.”
Lorelei smiled. “Well, looks like you accomplished your mission. Say, I’m going to be holding lessons on how to grow closer with one’s pokemon. You seem to be a trainer who understands that. I can tell by the way your holding that Marill. Would you care to sit in on the class?”
Wally smiled. “I’d love to.”
Later, the two of them arrived at the Pokemon Center and…
