"I... Well, I ate a piece of it..." you answer sheepishly.

One of the cake carriers bursts into tears and the other has a disgruntled look on her face.

"How could you?!" the first one sobs. "Do you know how long that cake took us?! It was for Shigekuni Yamamoto-Genryūsai! What is wrong with you?!"

"Wow, man... That's just... Wow..." The second one ends her thought with a disapproving shake of the head.

Even you are getting nervous. Shigekuni Yamamoto-Genryūsai?! Captain of the first division?! You'll get chewed out something awful if he finds out what happened! You might even lose your job! Which would be a very 'oh noes' of a situation!
