Despite their best efforts, Luke and Alice hadn't had much opportunity to sneak food together since their doughnut stuffing. They'd had the odd snack together here and there, but their mother's fixation with Alice's weight had prevented Alice from any real overeating.
Luke on the other hand had had more success, his mum's focus on Alice prevented her from noticing Luke's new figure, and he'd managed to successfully gain 2 more pounds from overeating. It would have been more, but he felt guilty about overeating without his new partner. That Friday, however, it was parent teacher evening, Luke's mum had to go to his school for a few hours to hear about Luke's academic performance, and Luke would be left in charge of the house for a few hours. They lived in a good neighbourhood and the door was locked, so Luke's mum had no problem with this.
"Ok honey, I'm off now", Luke's mum yelled from the doorway. It was 7PM and Alice had already gone to bed, figuring that if she couldn't overeat she could at least try and gain through being lazy.
