The Suspicious Creature

None of the people at the school knew that there is a creature residing within the gymnasium, specifically the storage area where most of the equipment is kept. It is a small alien creature that resembles a worm. This creature came from space, and by some twisted form of luck, had landed near the perimeter of where the school is located.

For some time, it had remained concealed in the gymnasium, protecting itself until it reaches a certain level of maturity, which it did just after a couple of months.

Now that it has, the alien's instincts made it possible for it to remember what its other brethren were meant to do as an invasive species, which is the need to propagate.

However, they would need a suitable host in order to do so, as their anatomy made it impossible to perform such an act with their own kind.

Thanks to its senses, the creature is aware that the school has numerous living beings whom it can mate with, for there are plenty of healthy human females like the staff and the students who are just outside the storage room door.

Then again, its sheer size and appearance will make it impossible to perform the deed, for the humans will certainly react in a negative way once anyone sees it.

For this reason, it must rely on its own abilities in order to capture a host, by any means necessary.

By some twist of fate, that opportunity had arrived much sooner than it expected.

After classes are over, the gymnasium is used by the school's sports teams to practice their skills. During one such day, one of its members will stay behind in order to return the borrowed equipment to the storage area before they go home and close the gym.

This is the chance that the creature wants to have, as it waited until they're all done with their training session.

Once it's over, the door to the storage room opens, as the creature was delighted to see.....
