As all the groups began dissecting the frogs, Mr. Friedman walked around the room regularly checking on groups, commenting on ones that were specifically doing a good job. Once Mr. Friedman was on the other side of the room, you noticed something strange about Leo. He was eying the frog in an unusual fashion. In fact, every time you looked at it, you got grossed out - you didn't even try to cut it open yet - but he seemed to have the opposite reaction. He had a look of joy on his face and even seemed hypnotized.
"Leo? What's up?" you ask.
"I love frogs," he smiled.
Before you could say anything, he shoved the entire frog into his mouth. You were so grossed out you thought you were going to be sick, but luckily managed to keep your breakfast down. Your classmates noticed what was going on and before you knew it, everyone on the same side of the room as you were laughing or making grossed out "ew" noises from seeing Leo eat the frog. Mr. Friedman turned around at the last second and caught the hind legs sticking out of Leo's mouth, but Leo finished eating the frog anyway.
"Are you crazy? We're gonna get in trouble now," you whisper to Leo. After thinking for a brief second, you ask him "and another thing - how could you still be hungry after eating that big burger?" Before he could answer your, Mr. Friedman had made your way to your group's table.
"You - Leonard - come with me. You're going to the principal's office!" your teacher yelled. With a disgusted look on his face, he grabbed Leo's arm and walked him out of the room. On the way out of the room and in the halls, you heard Mr. Friedman scolding Leo for even thinking about eating the frog while Leo kept making comements threatening lawsuit and mentioned something about discrimination.
You looked over at Vine. He was laughing. "Good ol' Leo." Despite the fact that you thought he was extremely crude and gross, you began wondering about him throughout your next few classes. What becomes of Leo?
