The two young dragons were having so much fun that they almost forgot how hungry and thirsty they were. The two continued to play until their stomachs growled.
"We better find something to eat before we waste are energy. There is bound to be something around here" Cynder said as she looked around for something. Cynder let out a small yelp as she felt something swim against her tail. She turned to see that a cat fish that was at least a foot long had rubbed up against her tail by accident.
"Looks like I find something!" and with a grin and a swift flick of her tail she impaled the cat fish with her, tail turning the water a little red with blood.
"Who's the top hunter know!" she said teasingly as she taunted Spyro by waving the fish around on her tail. Spyro laughed when Cynder let out a surprised yelp as the fish flopped madly, loosing it's self off her tail.
"Looks like you did not stab it hard enough." He laughed as she tried to grab it with her claws before it hit the water, but catching the fish was like catching a giant heavy bar of soap. Spyro continued laughing at her attempts to grab the cat fish.
"OUCH" she yelped pulling her right claw back in pain. Letting the heavly wounded catfish land back in the water.
Spyro stopped laughing as he saw a drop of blood drip down her hand and into the water.
"Are you okay? Here let me see your paw? Spyro said. Cynder gave him her paw.
“It’s just a small wound. You should be okay.” he said
“Why does it hurt so much though?” she said as she continued to wash her hand in the water.
“I believe there is something on the tip of that fishes fin that causes it to hurt when stuck by it, but I have been told that it is nothing serious.” He said.
“Now about being the top hunter!” Spyro said jokingly.
