Bobby wiped the sweat from his brow as he gulped down the ice-cold Gatorade. He had once again led his High School team to victory, and would only need to do so one more time to make his school the state champions. This game was on home turf, and many of his school's students and faculty members were there, cheering him on. Bobby was covered with sweat and dirt from the game, and was on his way to the showers when a petite dorky looking girl with thick glasses approached him.
"Hi, Bobby! That was some game today!" the girl said, pushing the thick glasses up her nose.
"Yeah." Bobby replied, without much thought. He didn't know this girl, and didn't really want to. She was just some Nerdy Freshman, and way beneath him. Not to mention the fact he was already dating Heather, the head cheerleader and undeniably the hottest and most popular girl in the school. Bobby started to walk by, but the dorky girl seemed to have other plans. She grabbed his arm and told him she was his biggest fan, and would like to have coffee or something with him.
"Let me go, loser!" Bobby bellowed as he broke free of the obsessive girl's grasp.
Dawn (the nerdy girl) fought back tears as the object of her obsession walked by. "I'll have you yet, Bobby Darren!" she muttered softly.
