Chloe had been told about this day. Since the Japanese took over a good 70 years ago now, the rest of the world had little option but to surrender themselves. What their fate amounted to depended on their captors; some were lucky to stay alive, but others were cooked into soups or worse, torn apart and eaten raw.
Trapped in a massive box, Chloe was still alive for now. There was the mumbling of distant Japanese, and mandatory lessons meant she could pick out a few words, but not enough to know what awaited her.
Footsteps thundered in her direction, and Chloe recoiled in anticipation. The lid of her box was lifted, and with all the poise of a garbage truck, she was dumped out onto a soft surface. Soft fabric caressed Chloe, and she scrabbled to her feet to find a young girl with her legs crossed around her.
“Ohaiyo!” The girl waved down at her. Weren’t they bigger than this, Chloe frowned. The stories always told of hundred foot titans. This teenager must’ve only been 20 or so feet tall. Small enough to actually make contact with.
“Err… hi.” Chloe mumbled back. Whatever this girl’s plan was, she was already trapped and powerless.
“Eigo…” the girl said, and cleared her throat. “H-hello! I am Mitsuki, and I love you!”
Of all the things this girl could’ve said, that surprised Chloe more than anything else. Could a giant love a tiny? Was that even legal? And another girl no less?”
“Love…?” Chloe spoke up. Just to make sure this wasn’t some weird mistake.
“Yes! Love!” Mitsuki beamed. “My father say westerners are just slaves, but I say ‘no, I love them!’ and he get me you!”
Chloe sighed. That was marginally better than being eaten. And if she were entirely honest, she lucked out with this one. Could’ve been anywhere from 11 to 25 - you know how Asians are - but she was cute anyhow.
“If you’re sure…” she grimaced. “Then I love you too, Mitsuki.”
“Yaaay!” Mitsuki lifted Chloe up with ease, squashing her into her chest for a massive hug.
