Deb made haste to get back home, eager to examine her find a lot closer. "Has anyone seen me pick her up?", "Who did this to her?", "This cannot be real, people don't just shrink!" all that and more was going through the girl's head while on her bus home. Opening her purse slightly to catch a peek inside she saw the little thing had woken up. For her everything had to be shaking as she tried to sit upright while keeping her balance. Perplex from waking up in such a dark, tight space she seemed to be checking her surroundings. Crammed in with a lipstick the size of her leg, a wallet roughly the same size as her and a box of tampons among other things. The diminutive girl craned her little neck up at her only light source as she instinctively held up her hand before her eyes, trying to protect them from the sudden beam of light shining on her. "It's okay. You're safe for now. Try to relax." Deb said before zipping up her purse again, leaving the tiny girl in darkness.
Later at home Deb wasted no time going to her room, opening her purse and tossing its content on her desk, causing her little captive to fall flat on her face and give out a weak yelp. Sitting down at her table, Deb out reached her arms and put them down on the surface next to the small girl, trapping her between them. Much to the girl's relief, she only did this to push any unwanted objects to the side of the table.
There she was standing now. A living, breathing human being striped of her dignity by being reduced to the size of a doll standing on another girl's desk, looking up at her. The rather thin girl was clad in a dark blue sweatshirt combined with a short red tartan skirt. She had straggly, waist-length, toffee blonde hair, pale skin and innocent blue eyes.
"Who are you?" the puny teen asked in a sheepish tone, finally gathering up the courage make an attempt at breaking the silence between the two.
Meanwhile, Deb remained silent, staring her little catch down trying to take in the fact that not only was a person the size of an action figure standing on her desk, but that a creature of her size was also able to speak.
All the while this was clearly making the tiny girl uneasy, "C..Can you help me get back to my family?" she asked with a stutter.
All of a sudden Deb once again reached her arm out above the girl, making her fear the worst whilst she gave out a startled squeal and braced herself for impact. Deb however, not paying any mind to how her simplest movements were terrifying to the helpless soul below her, was merely going for her penholder at the back of her desk. She spooked the girl once again by abruptly putting down a wooden ruler right next to her to measure her height. "Stand straight for a second, would you?" she said bluntly as her subject was still a little whimpery from suddenly being dwarfed by an everyday object, let alone the earsplitting sound that it made when it hit the table an inch away from her fragile little ears. Deb awaiting the teen girl to do as she said and adjust her posture she decided she wasn't gonna wait any longer as she got a good grip on her shoulders and pushed her torso upwards, trying not to squeeze her too hard, forcing her to stand upright so she could properly measure her. Deb wasn't surprised to see that her little discovery was standing at only just about 5 and a half inches tall.
"What's your name, little one?" she asked nonchalantly while took a photo of her next to the ruler, blinding the poor thing with the camera flash.
"My name is....," she said rubbing her eyes, trying to recover from the temporary blindness the much larger girl carelessly put her through, "...I'm Abigail."
"Well, hello there Abigail," Deb said sneeringly, "you are one tiny girl."
To this she said nothing, only taking a few steps back wondering what will happen next.
Delighting in the way little Abigail was looking up at her in complete awe she said "My name's Deborah."
