It looks like it may be too late. it's not a lawnmower, but just as leathal. Juliette's inconceivablely large foot was dropping towards Alex. Everything seemed to be in slow motion, like in the Matrix, and Alex had no time to escape. Even if he ran, the foot encompassed a the length of half a football field to the man. Alex decided to amke his last few seconds meaningful, and his life flashed before his eyes. The foot connected with Alex, reducing him to a bloody speck. Juliette would search for Alex for more than a year later, never realizing she herself had unknowingly squashed his tiny form.
