Chie sat there watching her now pudgy friend stuff her face with steak. She had to say something, she just had to think of the right way to phrase it.
"How did you get so fat!" she shouted without thinking. She quickly covered her mouth, embarrased by what she had blurted out. "I'm sorry, I just, I didn't," she tried to speak up but the more she did the redder her face got.
"Me?" said the shocked Yukiko, dropping her fork in surprise. "What about you little miss 'shrunk in the wash.'"
"What's that suppose to mean?" said Chie as she grabbed a hold of her green top.
"I may have put on a few pounds in the past week, but have you even gotten on a scale in the past month?"
"Whoa, whoa," said Chie as she stood up, appalled by her friend, "you had better not be trying to say what I think you're trying to say."
"I'm saying," said Yukiko as she reached out and poked Chie's exposed stomach, "that's not caused by a washing machine."
"Are you calling me a pig, you, you..." Chie was so mad she could barely speak, "you pig!"
"If I'm a pig then you're a hippo," shouted back Yukiko as she grabbed a hold of Chie's flab and jiggled it.
