This choice: Stay in Jelena a Bit Longer • Go Back... You lay awake in your bed, staring blankly at the ceiling. Umeko lays snuggled up next to you, pretending to sleep as you swallow her mind. True to your word, you’ve allowed yourself a bit more time to enjoy Jelena’s life before you move on. However, you have no intention of housing all of yourself in her, and after you’d returned to Jelena’s house you moved most of your extra goo into K.C.
“You’re really mature for a high schooler, you know,” Umeko says. “I honestly thought you went to Keyserling.”
“Thanks. I pride myself in being more mature than my classmates. It’s not going to be a problem, is it?”
“Of course not. You guys are really good, you know. Have I told you that?”
“Only five times. You should see us at our best.”
“That wasn’t your best?”
“Our keyboarder bailed on us. We need to find another one.”
“I used to take piano lessons when I was little. I don’t think I’m good enough to play with you guys, though.”
“I could teach you. You could play with us in no time at all.”
“I’d love that. The others would be fine with it?”
“Yeah. They want a good keyboarder as much as we do. And if they aren’t fine with it I could just move into them and then we’d all be on the same page.”
“That would be fun. Slow Fast Hazel, all under our control.” Now there’s a thought. Performing with just Jelena and K.C. in your corner was already exhilarating. If you had them all under control...
“Very tempting, I’ll admit.”
“It’s a shame I can’t keep you longer though,” Umeko sighs. “We look good together. Feel good together.”
“Did you really think that?” you reply. “We’re fun, sure, but I have no intention of going steady with you.”
“I don’t think that’s true. I think you don’t want to get attached because you’re afraid I’ll leave you as soon as I leave you. But that’s fine. I’m sure I’ll get over it quickly. Maybe I’ll find some sexy co-ed and we’ll discover something in common. Maybe I’ll hook up with your sister.” As Jelena, you kiss the top of Umeko’s head. You’ve just brought another one of your hosts to a vibrating climax in another part of town, and there’s a sympathetic warmth in your other hosts that you feel the need to stoke.
“Sorry, but my sister’s straight.”
“She doesn’t have to be. Not if I don’t want her to be.”
“What about keeping everyone in character?”
“College girls have bi phases all the time.”
“Fair enough. For now, though, why don’t we stick together?” You say, lowering your voice to a close approximation of K.C.’s. Umeko plants a feathery kiss on your neck, then mounts you.
“You read my mind.” And the two of you softly and wetly begin to explore each other’s mouths.
However, even as you mindlessly kiss and writhe with two bodies, you’re thinking of your next step; you’re actually at something of a crossroads at the moment. Now that you’ve got both college and high school hosts, you’re feeling torn. On one hand spreading yourself into the college means getting yourself farther away from any potential military activity, plus you would (mostly) get away from the roiling, never ending drama that seems to characterize high school and make your home base where the girls are hotter, and any life you take over would be a more autonomous one. Plus, there’s the idea of adding the rest of Slow Fast Hazel…
But are you really ready to move away from high school? For all its ups and downs, there’s a certain bitter sweetness to the idea of leaving before you graduate. And for all its drama, you’re actually starting to find it exciting, especially as an outside puppet master. There’s something seductive about knowing you’re top dog (and BEING top dog) when you’ve been at the bottom for so long.
