You jumped, the silence shattered in a second. You looked up at him and said, "W-what is it?" You were still nervous. There was no telling what this unpredictable giant would do.
"If you idolize me so much, you can be my new pet!" Naruto said this with a big grin on his face, like he knew he was saying just the right thing to make your day. You, on the other hand, had a totally blank look on your face.
"What?" you asked in a deadpan voice.
Naruto laughed and said, "Speechless huh? I would be too! I mean, I'm pretty amazing and now you get to spend all your time with me!"
You shook your head a little and said, "But...but...what about getting me to normal size?"
"Why would you want to go back to normal size? You already went through this much trouble to be close to me, you can't turn back to normal, so you can be close to me for the rest of your life! Doesn't that sound great?"
No! No it didn't! It sounded hellish! Who would want to be at the whims of a massive trouble maker? Your life would constantly be in danger! As you thought this, Naruto noticed your hesitation and his face grew stormier. He gripped you more tightly and said, "Unless of course you were LYING before and you really WERE trying to shrink me. Because if you were...I'd have to punish you!"
You took the hint. You quickly shook your head and said, "No! No! That sounds absolutely wonderful! I would love to be your pet Naruto!"
You bent over as best you could and kissed his hand. Naruto smiled again and said, "Good! Then it's settled! Come on little guy! Let's go!"
He tucked you into his jacket pocket before running off. Well this was just great! You were in an even worse fix now! Naruto had absolutely no intention of helping you and was keeping you like a kid who keeps a mouse. And, judging by Naruto's personality, it would be quite hazardous. The jostling finally ended after about five minutes of constant, nausea inducing motion, and Naruto's hand appeared again, reaching into the pocket and pulling you out.
