Troy was at the drugstore getting some after-workout energy drinks. He never would've expected what he would soon discover. He saw a large bag of dark blue candies that he'd never seen before. The branding was completely missing other than a single blueberry, and another passerby in the aisle seemed to not see them at all. Troy couldn't help but be intrigued by the blue candies, and he liked blueberries, and they were cheap to boot, so he decided to give them a shot, grabbing the sizable bag on his way out.
Once home, his parents gone for the weekend, he decided to give one a try. He tore open the bag and grabbed one of the m&m-sized candies, feeling that it was definitely a hard candy, as he squeezed it with his fingers, and there was no give. He popped it in his mouth, and much to his surprise, it seemed to turn into juice as soon as it hit his tongue. Troy was blown away by the intense blueberry flavor that followed. It was almost as if he'd eaten hundreds or even thousands of ripe blueberries all at once. He swallowed the bit of juice, then said, "Whoa!" to himself.
He put away the energy drinks and soon afterward, he felt a bloating sensation in his belly. He reached his hand down, only to feel that he now had a bit of a belly. He went over to the bathroom mirror, already feeling his white tank start to ride up and he lifted it the rest of the way, seeing that not just his belly, but his whole midsection had swollen up considerably, and the skin on it was now dark blue. It seemed to stop for now, and Troy poked his new gut, feeling it wobble like a water balloon, almost like it was filled with a liquid.
