Troy was walking to the locker room after practicing some shoots with basketball while texting Chad.
"Hey Chad, come over to my place when you get done hanging out with Ryan. I'm about to change from practice and head home. Meet you there?"
Chad texted back almost immediately as Troy entered the empty locker room, "See you at your place in a few!"
Troy walked over to his locker and took off his size 12 sneakers. His feet were killing him from all the running. He slipped off his socks and pulled off his sweat drenched Wildcats tank top, and smelt his armpits.
"Phew, I stink! Maybe I should really put on some deo next time."
Next were his ragged red gym shorts. These had been through many games, and looked about ready to fall off. He took all of his clothes off until he was left in his boxer briefs. He stood there half naked and opened his locker door to find a note and a bottle of blue juice sitting in front of his old clothes from last practice. He read the note aloud:
"Hey son. Just wanted to give you a big pat on the back for all of the hard work you've put in to basketball. I couldn't be any prouder of your input and your sense of unity with the rest of the team. You boys are definitely growing up. Here's some of your favorite juice you used to drink as a kid: Blue Kool-aid! You're mom and I thought it would be a funny reminder of what your past used to include. Drink up! Haha, love you. See you soon! -Dad (coach)"
"Wow, Dad. My favorite juice from when I was a kid? Ha. Funny" Troy said.
Troy put his clothes up into the locker and took out some fresh, clean clothes he had in his gym bag. He put on some new gym shorts, his favorite Wildcats jersey, some Nike's and was on his way. He took the bottle of juice as well, but...
