"Here's my plan," Frank said. "Why don't I swap myself...only temporarily mind you...with someone else, and then I'll swap myself right back to my body here without you touching the device. I'll do the same with Rachel, and then this will seem normal to you. You're reality will be fixed!"
"My reality is not what's screwed up!" John insisted. Then he had a sudden fear. If he didn't settle down, then Frank may follow through on his idea, and then Rachel's body would be lost to him forever. He would accept his wife with his brother's body, and that was an intolerable concept. He had to keep his wits about him so that he could get the device away from Frank before he followed through on his plan.
"Maybe I could swap myself with that young lady over there," Frank was pointing at a teenage girl, about 17, who was just getting into her car.
"If you do this," John said. "You could just change with Rachel."
"No," Frank said. "I can't stand the idea of swapping with anyone at all. Let alone anyone with a penis and masculine body. That just seems perverted."
"I'll tell you what Frank," John asserted before Frank caused his reality to change. "Just stay the way you are. I think I'm just very tired; that device may just have short circuited my brain."
"That's what I'm thinking, dude," Frank said as he walked over to John and put his wife's hand on his shoulder. He held the remote tightly in his other hand. "Let's go inside."
John walked with Frank inside. Once inside and back in John's man cave, Frank plopped down in the LazyBoy recliner that John loved to doze in, and leaned back. He had Rachel's legs spread wide as he leaned the chair back, offering a clear view of her panties under the nightgown. Then he stuck Rachel's left index finger into his right nostril to work lose a booger blockage.
John looked at him and cringed, but held his tongue.
"So, I guess I should get dressed and let you get some rest, bro. I think this device has basically freaked you out. Then when you pressed the button it must have done something to your thinking. With some rest you'll be fine."
