This choice: You're fine where you are • Go Back...Chapter #11Breaking In Your New Life Among Other Things by: rugal b. "Is that really what you want?" Caleb asks and this time you know he's using it as a threat, "There's no going back if you walk away so you'd better be prepared to wave goodbye to Will Prescott?"
You have nothing going on in your life and a friend who's becoming increasingly bossy and pushy. You feel partially bad about taking Anne's life but you figure that Caleb's trying to bluff you and that with a bit of time he'll walk back what he said. Once that's done you can switch out of Anne for someone else if you really want to and bring her back... or maybe bring her back under a new identity if you didn't want to give up Anne's life. So you decided to call his bluff, at least for the time being.
"Who's Will Prescott?" you ask with a smile.
Caleb narrows his eyes at you and shakes his head, "I really wanted you involved in this but have it your way." He leans back against one of the portables, "You're fine with where you are?"
"Why wouldn't I be? I've got everything I'd want," you say. A great body, nice friends, actual talent, smarts, a good family, no annoying siblings... yeah, you're not seeing a downside. "Look, I want to get back and enjoy at least a little bit of lunch with my friends so I'm going to head back. I'll talk to you later, alright Caleb?"
"Nuh uh," comes the reply, "You're out, you're out. No going back and that includes talking to me since Anne Starkey doesn't talk to Caleb Johansson."
"There's no fast and hard rule that says she can't."
"This isn't a temporary thing, Anne," he stresses your new name, "If you're going to be Anne, be Anne."
Well if that's what he wants... "I am," you shoot back and allow Anne's mind to more fully envelope your own, "But maybe I'd want to talk to Caleb Johansson some time. Maybe I've heard some things from Eva that have caught my interest because he seems like a pretty interesting person."
"We barely even hang out with any of the same people."
He's really going to be pig-headed isn't he? "Just because we don't run in the same social circles now doesn't mean we can't start," you say.
"Do whatever you want," he huffs.
"Well right now I want to gossip with Danielle, then I want to..." you stop and then giggle, "Mmm, yeah that's going to be... oh, but gosh I just can't wait!" You then give him a warm smile, "I really would like to hang out with you some time though, Caleb. Maybe not today or tomorrow but soon, 'kay?" With a little wave you head back to join your friends for what little bit of lunch remains.

The rest of the day goes through fairly uneventfully. Mr. Carr's AP Biology class is something you don't particularly care too much for. That's not to say Anne slacks off in class, far from it she applies herself hard. She's just not overly enthusiastic about the material. Carr himself is almost a non-entity. He's not a hard-ass like Walberg, neither is he regarded as one of the cooler teachers like Hagerman or Jen... he's just kind of there and goes about his lessons as mechanically as possible.
Mrs. Goretsky's class is definitely a much better one and while she has a reputation as a hard-ass among a lot of students she's someone Anne would describe as more "stern but fair". Put in the effort and don't slack and she'll do what she can to accommodate you. The fact that you share the class with many of Anne's--your--friends, people like Danielle, Brent, Deanna Showalter and even Eva to a degree, certainly helps as well and you find the material much more interesting. You're tasked to finish two of what's considered a great book from authors not being covered in class, one for each semester covering earlier works in the first and then later works in the second. Anne had gone with Anabasis first and The Princess of Cleves for second.
You dread seventh period though as you thought you'd be lucky enough to escape Walberg with a new life but, of course, why would you? Thankfully Anne is one of the students Walberg likes, for as much as he's able to like anything, so from your current place you don't get things quite as bad as you would if you were still Will Prescott. But Walberg is still Walberg and whereas Goretsky is stern but fair, Walberg is just flat out stern. Anne's mind finds the material more fascinating than you would, however, so you really allow yourself to sink into her which makes the class less stressful than it'd otherwise be.
Absorbing yourself more into her is something you should be doing full time, not just to mess with Caleb, but in all honesty you're worried if that'd cause you to lose your sense of self so better to just keep her at arm's distance so to speak. Although for the last class of the day you figure it's probably a good idea to keep things going.
Between classes you give a small wave to Jelena Petrovic who you see conversing with some of her other friends. You've seen her band playing around town and while you wouldn't consider her a friend you're on friendly enough terms that you can consider her a casual acquaintance. One of her friends is in another local band and mentally you sigh at how cool that all sounds since you'd never have the guts to go up and do that all yourself.
Still, as you head into the music room and get set up you do feel a level of contentment. You really do love the class and being able to perform and while Mrs. Heinz expects nothing less than the best she doesn't drive her class to an unreasonable degree either. The Will part of your brain emerges briefly as you spot Gary Checn and it's all you can do to stop from shuddering. Even Anne, however, is always a little put off by him as his reputation precedes him although that goes away once the class starts playing as, for whatever other bits of character Chen may lack, he's actually fairly talented with the viola.
You proceed through the rest of class as normal performing small exercises to warm up for the first bit and spending the rest focusing on a specific piece, in this case Vivaldi's La tempesta di mare which excites you as, being a flute concerto, you get to show off a little more. You do well and earn praise from Heinz and your classmates, even Chen gives a brusque "congratulations". By the time the final bell rings to indicate school's done for the day you're practically overflowing with excitement.

You stand outside the front doors for a few minutes before Cameron finally shows up. You bound over to him, wrap your arms around him and give him a deep kiss.
"Well someone's in a good mood," he states with a grin.
"Well yeah, why wouldn't I be? Remember?" He eyes you oddly although knowing him it's because he's just messing with you. "The date, remember? We're going to see that new movie and then..." You bite your lip and giggle, "My parents are going to be out tonight with some friends so we can do it at my place."
"Do...? Oh! Right!" He then gets another goofy grin on his face, "How could I forget?"
So he really was messing with you. Well no matter, the two of you get in your cars and head off to the theater making sure to stop at a drug store to get some protection. He seems to still be playing the forgetful boyfriend routine but you pay it no mind as you spend the next couple of hours enjoying the movie and canoodling. Once that's over the pair of you head back out to Anne's place which, while certainly not in the realm of the Blankenships or Ferguson's, is still in the nicer part of town. You head in and do a sweep of the place just to make sure that her parents aren't around and once it's deemed that the coast is all clear you decide to make up a couple of sandwiches since you hadn't ate anything but popcorn at the theater.
Once your small meal is finished you decide to head up to your bedroom and practically push Cameron down onto your bed. There you unzip his pants and pull his cock out. You're still a bit awkward to start--Anne hasn't done it a lot--but once you've got it in your mouth and get to work it's like instinct takes over and it's not long before he manages to blast a load right into your mouth catching you by surprise. You head over to to the vanity to grab some tissues to spit it out in and toss in the small garbage can that sicks next to it.
By the time you come back in Cameron's already got his shirt off and is in the process of removing his pants. You quickly do the same and strip yourself out of your clothes while he grabs a condom. You then express delighted surprise when he picks you up, turns you around and places you onto the bed before lowering himself on top of you. He asks you if you really think you're ready and you respond positively. However you cry out in surprise and a little bit of pain you admit--god his cock is big--as he goes in. This stops him but you insist that you're fine and urge him to continue. He obliges and once he's fully penetrated you he gets to work. His technique is strong and confident and you're sure this isn't his first time; he's had other girlfriends before you so while this time is your first it's likely not his.
When he finally does cum it's like a train rolling through you and moan in both surprise and ecstasy. The two of you lay like that for a moment or two trying to catch your breath. Then you hope up and make sure to clean yourself off. Once you're both dressed you lay back on the bed, give him another kiss and then nuzzle your head against his strong chest.
