I am really concerned about what would happen if I told him, but yet I'm his friend, who which I normally tell secrets too. But for now I should think about it later. But right now I could see Josiah Walters in front of me with two of his buddies. Josiah was this big grade four guy who bullied people all the time, including me. He's got black hair and this mean looking face, like he can't smile. His buddies are just silent muscle. I have he ears of them the day I came here, but this is becoming a common occurrence. And yes I sometimes do get away from him.
"Hey there chocolate hair, ready to be our punch bag of the day?" he asked aggressively. I didn't respond and I didn't even try to hear his thoughts, I didn't want to. I knee he and his friends were behind me at a safe distance, so I began to run. "Where in the world do you think you are goin' Carter?" he asked, spitefully using my last name, like for all little kids like me. "I asked for you to be our punch bag, so come back immediately."
"No!" I shouted back. He and his friends began to chase after me. "Get away from me! I do not want to be beaten up!" I shouted back at them, I am nobody's punch bag, Why didn't bring his own? Man, what a bully he was. Josiah and his buddies are nearly on my tail, fortunately I'm at a sane distance, which makes it the good news. I found the cafeteria, which was always spacious, so I took the chance and hid there. Its size made it a great place to hide, since the bullies had to take time to search. The bullies ran past the cafeteria, boy was I safe, for now though.
"Think you get away from me like that?" he asked furiously as he tries to find me. I took a peak where he is, then he turns around and looks at me. "There you are!" he shouts, "do you ever, ever think you might get a way from me?" I shocked, I had to find a place to hide. I began to hide behind the tables. The bullies soon appeared. "Where are you?" he shouted. he and his friends began to search everywhere, as they were searching for me, I found a ladder in the janitor's closet. I dunno why there's one, but it should help me escape "O.K.", I said to myself, "I'm gonna make a run for it in 3, 2, 1!" I began to run for it. That's the time the bullies caught me.
"There you are!" he shouts. as I climb up the ladder to the roof top, the bullies started chasing me. as I reached the rooftop, the bullies began to climb up the ladder. Finally, when they reached there, I had no place to hide. The bullies saw me.
"Do you think you were ever able to escape?" he asked. As the bullies crept closer to me, I slipped off the edge, and began to fall I believed to my death, but then surprisingly, I was literally standing in mid-air, just only a few inches from the ground. "How can you-?" he asked. I soon was able to fly around to escape him. Surprisingly, I can fly, with the bullies starring at me with awe.
I finally landed safely on an area the bullies won't find me. I got away, for now. Now I really had to tell Jake what's going on. Mind-reading AND flight in one day? It's cool, but I am unsure weather I should talk to Jake about it or not.
