I was experiencing the strongest family hug ever, that’s saying something, seeing as to how I have super strength, but after a few minutes my mom, and my sister finally release me from their embrace.
“We love you Sammy.” My sister Bianca says before returning to her room, leaving me and mom alone In the living room.
The room was silent for a few minutes, my cheeks were a little wet from my tears, but otherwise I was feeling better.
“Sammy I don’t know what is going on with your body, I don’t have any answers to give you.” Mom says looking ashamed.
“But I might have something that can help you.” My mom says getting up, walking towards her room.
I followed my mom into her room, and together we stood before a large dresser that stood inside her closet. Mom opens up the top Dresser drawer, and brings out something that looked like a crystal the size of a baseball. The crystal was almost clear as glass, but had a crimson aura surrounding it.
“Your space ship evaporated like mist as soon as I had picked you up. Their was nothing left except this small crystal.” Mom says holding the crystal right in front of my eyes.
“I don’t know what it is, but it is yours.” Mom grabbing my hands gives me the crystal.
As soon as the crystal touched my skin, it’s crimson aura turned azure blue like the sky.
“What’s happening?” I ask, realizing that the crystal is starting to vibrate in my hands. It kind of tickled, but the last thing I wanted to do was laugh.
“I don’t know?” Mom said realizing the sudden change.
Out of fear I drop the crystal, and watch it fall to the ground, but before it hit the carpet floor it started to levitate in mid air, and start to ascend up to my face.
“My son.”
I heard a voice emanating from the crystal. I couldn’t help but take a step forward, the voice it sounded familiar to me, and seemed to calm my nerves. Deep down in my soul I really wanted to trust that voice.
Soon the crystal disappears, and is replaced by a man. The man had short brown curly hair, and short trimmed beard. The man wore strange white clothing, that made him look like a holy saint. But the thing that drew me in more than anything was his eyes, which were blue and green like the sea, yet seemed peaceful, gentle.
“To see you there my boy, is the greatest blessing I could have ever received.” The man says with a smile.
“Who are you?” I ask with very little strength left in my body.
Deep down I already knew the answer, but I had to hear him say it.
“My name is Sharal Etregal, and you Sammy are my son.” The man says with a warm smile on his face.
“How did you know my name is Sammy, and how are you here right now?” I ask.
“To answer the first question, when you touched the Essence crystal all of your memories your very essence was absorbed. I know everything about you Sammy, as for the second, I am standing before you as nothing but a hologram, I believe that is what humans call it.” Sharal says having to think about it for a little while.
“All of who I am, all of who I was, was recorded and put into the crystal, along with all of the knowledge and research of our race. I am here as a guide to help you along your journey my son. You have questions, the time has come to provide answers to those questions. So ask.” Sharal says.
Mom leaves the room, giving me and my hologram dad alone time in her room.
“Please tell me where do I come from.” indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
