Sami woke up and got ready for school. She tried to fit her feet into her shoes but they didn't fit, so she decided to wear her older sister's blue flip flop sandals. She slid her feet into them and smiled, she loved the way they slapped her soles whenever she took a step.

On the way to school, Sami ran into Bill, the most attractive boy at school, and Sami's major crush.
"Hey," Bill said casually.
"H-hey..." Sami echoed, she couldn't believe he was really talking to her!
"Nice sandals," Bill said.
"Oh thanks! Maybe I'll wear them more often!" Sami's heart was racing, Bill had never talked to her before, let alone complimented her! Her heart began to race and she wiggled her toes with excitement, and as she did...
