Nicole's mother finished feeding her and burped her. She stood up and carried her infant daughter out of the room. "Alright sweetie, mommy's going to get some laundry done, you can rest." Nicole looked up at her mother as she laid her in her swing and buckled her in. Nicole drifted off to sleep and her mother walked out of the living room, and went into the laundry room. She sat back on the living room couch and started folding laundry from her basket.
Hours later, Nicole woke up and started crying. She opened her eyes to see Jenny standing over her. "Hey, little sister." Jenny cooed, unbuckling her baby sister from her swing. Nicole's chest heaved quickly. "Oh, don't worry. Big sister's gonna change your diaper." Jenny cooed. She laid her sister on the living room floor atop a changing mat. "Jenny, when you're done can you help me set the table?" her mother said. "Sure mom." Jenny replied. "Thanks sweetie." her mother said. Jenny looked back down at Nicole and opened her onesie. Jenny took off Nicole's diaper and wiped her down. She sprinkled some powder on her, applied lotion to her and diapered her. "Good baby, Nicole." Jenny cooed. She swaddled her and put her back in her swing. Jenny went to the kitchen to help her mother. Nicole sat in her swing, rocking back and forth, looking at the wall.
