Kent and Mary are a couple in their late 40s . Mary's hair has been graying over the last year . Kent's Hair went gray 10 year ago . They are fair shape for people their age . Their son Larry just married six months ago . Helen is getting ready to head off to college .
Helen is having some friends over for a pool party . Kent and Mary figure it would be ok to leave the house under Helen's care . The couple figure a drive to explore small towns , flee markets and see the country side would be a great way to enjoy a summer day . Kent back the corvette out of the garage . Mary hopped in on the passeger side . The black corvette disappear from Helen view . The first of her friends arrived a hour or so later .
Kent pull over to park the car . Mary stepped out to look at the small resturent . The faded sign read " Wild Randy Grill " and inside just had couple of table . They sat down and order a plate of ribs . The waitress talks about the hiking trails down the road . The couple finished up the ribs . The waitress cleared the dirty plates and picked up the $5 tip .
The hiking trail is marked with a wooden sign . It was only few minutes from resturant . They parked the corvette and started down the trail .
