Tonight they were both going to the movie theatre downtown, in fact it was about time to go, and Mary now walked out from the office to the house of her one year girlfriend, Jessica. Just like everyday, Mary drove her car into the streets of the city and after negotiating peak hour traffic finally arrived at the house of her girlfriend whom even now waited at the front of the house. She waved and entered the car and they were both off to the theatre. Jessica asked her "You seem pleased with yourself, what happened at the lab today?" Mary only smiled and said "I will tell you when we get there". Jessica smiled "I love surprises, lead the way then"
In almost no time flat they were there. Mary then told Jessica about the formula, what it could do and the fact that she had ultimate power over reality itself. Mary at first didn't believe her, and so in the blink of an eye they were transported to a different reality, a swirling grand vortex where Mary created objects from thin air and manipulated them, where she caused light and dark to appear and then disappear. A reality where she is unambiguously... God. Mary smiled and opened her mouth wide which approached Jessica, closer and closer the gigantic maw about to snap shut when the movie theatre reappeared around them. Jessica was shaken but now convinced.
"Do you want me to do something for you?" Mary asked playfully while sparks danced between her fingers.
