Gloria had been at the Centeral Park zoo since she was a calf, it was the place she knew better than anywhere else, and it was where her friends wer, and Gloria couldn’t imagine her life without them. This however changed when a man working for the New York City circus came for a visit and business where he was led to Gloria’s enclosure by the zoo director and she heard a bit of their conversation
“I’m guessing this is the one you are talking about sir, she certainly is a beauty and will be perfect for the circus.”.
“Oh how I agree with you, I know the people might miss her as she is are only hippo at the moment, but still I think the old girl will love this once she gets used to everything, and how about we get her loaded up.”.
It was then that her keeper grab a big piece of fruit and placed it on a stick and Gloria came out of her pool and towards the fruit, but before she could take a bite she ran right into the crate and was shut behind her. Gloria thought this was only a vet checkup at first but then noticed they weren’t going anywhere near the veterinary center but onto the main road, and she only watched as the zoo got smaller in the distance and pulled into the circus headquarters where the crate was unloaded and Gloria got to look around her new surroundings.
