My thoughts

The duck and the mallard pondered all night,
When the question developed into a fight,
Feathers were bent and tempers flew,
And after all that neither of them knew
When all of a sudden along came a cat,
Can you imagine what they made of that?
They knew it was pointless to run,
So instead they had some fun,
They asked the cat a question
