"no! heck no! a million times no!" carly screamed.
"yeah, i do not want to get fat." sam added.

later that evening, sam was checking the messages left by icarly fans. every single one talked about sam and carly gaining weight, all 436 of them. sam printed out one and trudged over to freddie and carly.

"we have to gain weight."
"what? why?" carly asked.
"they signed a petition, 300 signatures. if we don't gain at least 15 pounds each, we can't do the show anymore."
"we've worked so hard to do this!" carly protested.
"i know! and to keep this going..." sam stared at her stomach.
"wow, you guys are seriously going to do this."
"we have to, freddie." sam said, dreading the truth of it.
