It had been a month since Ryu and Ken had defeated Bison and Chun Li was released from the hospital. The Interpol agent was at her home, still on leave from rejoining the force, when she felt the cuts Vega had made on her body ache.
Crying out in pain, Chun Li passed out.
"Kid, hey kid! Wake up!"
Chun Li slowly opened her eyes, seeing the familiar flat hair of Guile, her partner and friend in bringing down Shadowlaw.
"Guile...why are you in my apartment?"
"You've been out for a whole day kiddo. I was just coming round to visit you when I found you passed out on the floor. Seems like you still have some healing to do."
Chun Li looked around her and saw that she was in her bed, covered up tightly.
"But the hospital gave me a clean bill of health," Chun Li protested.
"I know but doctors can't get everything right all the time. I've talked to the hospital that treated you and while they don't think you should be brought in, they do want you to get plenty of rest and eat, okay?"
Chun Li nodded and Guile grinned.
"Great. Now I'm going to nurse you back to health and you better not refuse what I feed you, okay?"
"Fine, but don't give me any protein shakes, those things are nasty," Chun Li, said, making a disgusted face.
Guile laughed and patted her on the head.
"Don't worry. I know some good restaurants around here that will fill you up good. And I'm not that bad of a cook also."
This set Chun Li laughing as she imagined Guile with an apron wrapped around him.
