(Set-up info, consider this a filler *pardon the pun* arch in the Demon Portal season)
Shendu was in a rage, spraying fire in every direction. He ignored Valmont's protests about searing his throat, and paid little attention to Fin, Ratso, Chow, or Hak Fu. Or the fact that Fin and Ratso were both on fire. The first three Demon Sorceror's he'd tried to release from Limbo had been banished again almost as soon as they'd been able to return to the mortal plane. The accursed Chan must be removed from the picture. But how?
"CHAN!!" Shendu bellowed, spraying fire into the ceiling of the fish cannery. "That ever present thorn in my side, landslide in my path..." Shendu briefly considered summoning the Shadow Khan, but dismissed that notion as useless almost immediately. Those dark ninjas were skilled, yes, but hardly more effective than his four mortal enforcers. Perhaps less so, given that they lack any drive or imagination of their own.
"We must remove Chan, and the rest of his meddlesome band, from our path if we are to succeed in releasing the last four Demon Sorcerors, and not have them cast back into the Nether as Po Kong, Xiao Fung, and Tchang Zu were." Shendu growled as he stalked back and forth, smoke still billowing from his mouth.
Fin, Ratso, and Chow began to emerge from their hiding places, all of them badly singed. Only Hak Fu had avoided all of the flames. "But how are we supposed to do that, Shen-Dude?" Fin said, patting his still smouldering sleeve. "Chan's too good of a fighter for us, heck, even the Shadow Khan!" Fin flinched backward as Shendu's baleful gaze fell on him but he continued. "He's just way too fast..."
Shendu paused, thinking. "Fast...yes," he said starting to grin. "Yes, we shall just have to slow Chan and the others down...won't we?"
Beginning to laugh at the simplicity of his idea, Shendu prepares a spell that will cause...
