Do we really need to 'what if' this. I mean if youve seen the episode 'Parasite's lost' then you should be able to put 2 and 2 together. So I guess this chapter's for those of you who haven't seen it.
Thank's to an egg mayo sandwich he got out of a vending machine in a public toilet. Fry unknowingly got worm's.
Not just any worm's but highly intelligent worm's who's effort's to improve theyre new home caused Fry to (as Hermes put it) become smarter than Cher, more flexible than Gummbi, more powerful than Hercules and if his effect on Leela was anything to go by more charming than the prince of the same name.
The whole crew minus Leela used microbot's to enter Fry's body to get rid of the worm's while Leela kept Fry from distracted from finding out he had worm's. Throughout their 'fantastic voyage' they found the worm's doing what Fry never did, taking care of him. He became the first three thing's mentioned in the paragraph above which combined together to become the fourth thing. Winning Leela over completly.
Of course when he mentioned that thing's became so differant after he ate that toilet sandwich she realised what cause this and told him to wait at the cafe they were at while she went to take care of something. Which 'by something' she meant destroying the microbot's inside Fry using her own to stop the crew from getting rid of the worm's.
Now this was the point were Fry would come in and demand an explaination aand the crew would tell him. He'd go home with Leela who was just about ready to jump him if the mention's of the bed were anything to go by. He'd feel upset that it was like she was falling in love with what he'd become. He'd go get rid of the worm's and Leela would kick him out.
Instead in this universe however Leela managed to get the crew to be quiet about the whole incident before Fry could get their. Thanks to Bender's mouth being convienently melted shut and the rest of the crew sporting bruises and black eye's.
So let's think back. Without Fry being told about the worm's he wouldn't feel conflicted about Leela's feeling for the new him and leaveto get rid of them right when they were on her bed.
Which mean's......I'm not 'that' kind of writer so you can figure it out for yourself.
