You blink, staring at your sister before openly laughing at her. Besides feeling the tiniest bit heavier, there’s nothing different about you. Whatever she just tried didn’t work.

“I didn’t do anything to you on purpose.” Sarah announced, looking embarrassed. “I’m being, uh...merciful. Yes. If you leave now, I won’t humiliate you in front of my friends.”

Cackling at her failure, you agree, hurrying out of the room. You are feeling rather tired though, so instead of going off to play games or something else, you decide you’re going to go to sleep early tonight.

You don’t have any issues falling asleep, but when you wake up...
