"Well if you would stop yelling, maybe I could concentrate long enough to get us apart." you complained. "I almost had it." You grimaced at Mark's body. While you may have wanted to switch bodies with him, you were not sure how or why your powers only worked half-way. The only thing you could think of was that your only imagined being on Mark's body, and not switching with him.
"Don't make excuses, fix this." Mark glared at you as he clenched a fist.
Closing your eyes again, you try to refocus. This time you concentrate on your headless body lying limply on your bed, picturing it within your mind's eye. "I'll just finish what I started, and place Mark on my body." you say under your breathe.
"Why do I feel... tingly? What are you doing?" Mark must of have sensed what your were doing. "Don't you dare take my body." He swung at your face.
You instinctively raised his right hand and caught his fist, surprising the both of you. However in that moment, your concentration waned and a random, imagined thought popped into your head. An image of yours and Mark's bodies overlaid on top of each other's appeared in your mind's eye, just as your power began to activate.
Neither you or Mark disappeared. Instead Mark's body began to change and shift. The clothes morphed, and your height dropped as it became your body. A moment later, the body grew and stronger muscles from years of football practice formed as Mark's body reappeared. This happened a couple more times as you and Mark gawked. Finally, the changes ended. The body supporting yours and Mark's heads seemed to have settled as some combination of your individual bodies.
"What did you do to my body?!" Mark stared, wide-eyed.
"What did I do to my body?" you whispered to yourself.
