Remembering the number of dragon themed books, pictures, and figurines she's collected, the perfect idea springs to your mind. Striking a few buttons on the remote, you find an appropriate 'person mode' template on the little 2 inch lcd screen (it's one of those new 'smart' universal remotes) and start adjusting it to suit your friend. All the while she watches in anticipation wondering what you're doing. Once it's ready, you point the remote at her, just as you had done on yourself, and activate the template.
Right before your eyes she starts to change, gleaming ruby red scales spreading across her back and shoulders, and out of them sprouting two large leathery wings and a matching tail. Her clothing changing to have a mostly open back so as not to interfere with her new appendages. At the edges of the patch of scales they start to turn pink and get smaller until they blend seamlessly with her skin, though if you look closely enough, the scales have actually replaced her skin entirely, though the skin-tone ones are so small and smooth as to not be noticed unless you're close enough to touch them. However it seems there were some non-wing traits from the template you couldn't hide. Were she to open her mouth to speak you would see her teeth and jaw arranged a bit different on the inside, her eyes seem more reptilian if you pay atention to the shape of the iris, and where she used to have nails she now has amber colored claws.
As the changes stop, Kotomi turns her head to look at her new wings and gasps, surprised for a moment, as she recognizes the shape of the wings and grins. Hardly believing they're real, and having to actually touch them to confirm, she gives them a tentative stretch before folding her wings around herself so they drape over her shoulders like a cape. Her attention then moves to her other changes, her grin growing with every one.
"This is amazing! We should definitely show this to the others!" She says, barely holding back her enthusiasm and grinning like an idiot the whole time. Overjoyed at the idea that she's now apparently part dragon.
Nodding your agreement, you start to plan what to change about Carlie when she gets here later.
