He still realizes that he is John

After John's body absorbs the orb, he suddenly springs back to life. "Dude, I don't think it worked!". You look at him and are surprised that he still talks like John. You realize though that his voice is much higher and gentler in tone similar to Miss Lock's.

"Hey John, you do have Miss Lock's orb. Maybe the changes are gradual. Why don't we walk around for a few minutes before going to see Miss Lock? I'll put your orb in your locker for safe keeping. As you place his orb in his locker you are kind of disgusted too see how messy it is. You are kind of a slob yourself, but his locker is even too disgusting for you.

Upon looking at his locker, John suddenly looks embarrassed and in his newer higher gentler tone says "Let me clean this locker first.". The only time you ever see John clean anything is when his mom threatens to ground him, and even then he is terrible at cleaning things. Now, though, he dives right into straightening up his locker and within a few minutes has it in immaculate shape.

You realize that Miss Lock's peronality is taking over more and more but you also realize that it has a long way to go.
