A dull thudding throbs through your head. You cringe and open your eyes, and immediatly regret it. Your head feels like a dozen hot nails are slowly being hammered into it. Must've been a good night...
Your eyes drift into focus, and notice that you are lying at the side of a dirt road. The thudding gets louder and louder, until a majestic stallion ridden by an armour-clad knight gallops past.
What the hell?! you think.
"Hey! Excuse me!" you yell out to him.
Somehow, god-knows how, he hears you. Turning around, you trots over to where you are.
"Who are you, vagrant?" he asks.
"I'm John," you say indignately, "and I'm not a vagrant." The knight snorts contemptously,"I was wondering where I was?"
The knight laughs out loud, "You don't know where you are? Ha! You must of been at the wine last night!"
"Probably..." you mutter under your breath.
"I'm afraid I cannot help you there. I am off to rescue the princess that has been taken by the dragon. I have to say, the princesses around here are far too easy to capture. Too much inbreeding by the royal family if you ask me. Anyway...
