Cream and Cheese were exploring a library when they found a strange book caught her eye. It was a thick leather volume jutting out from the top shelf. With Cheese's help, she was able to pull the book out of the shelf. but it was much heavier than it looked. They lost their grip on it, sending it toppling to the floor with a heavy thud. Cream gasped and looked around frantically, worried someone had heard the noise. Luckily, that wasn't the case. As she climbed down to the floor, she noticed the book had opened to a page with strange little poem. As she read it, she absentmindedly spoke it aloud:
"Speak this rhyme and you will see
The world a little differently.
Just say the simple words of size
And you will fall or you will rise."
"Strange book..." Cream said, trying to pick it up. But the tome was too heavy for the little rabbit to lift. "This book is too big for--OOOH!" Cream was cut off by a strange sensation that her body was surging outwards. Before her astonished eyes, everything around her seemed to shrink. In seconds, she had grown to twice her normal size! "Wha...what happened to me? Everything looks so small noooOOOW!" Again she felt a strange sensation, this time like she was riding an express elevator straight down. Just as mysteriously as she had grown, Cream shrunk back to her normal size.
Cream stood dumb-founded for a moment, then remembered the poem she had read. "Say the simple words of size..." Cream decided to do a little experimenting. "Small!" With a yelp, she shrunk down further until she was the same size as Cheese, who was watching with amazement. Cream looked up with wonder, marveling at how huge the library had become. "Big!" Again, Cream grew to her normal proportions. "i can change size now! This is fun!" Come on, Cheese! Let's go try this out!"
Leaving the library, Cream and Cheese found a secluded spot where they went to pick flowers from time to time. Taking a deep breath, Cream said...
