Knuckles tried to duck the boots. He really did. But he couldn't react fast enough. One of the boots slammed into him, knocking Knuckles flying. As he flew, he hit a wall and bounced off it. The Echidna was stunned, and passed out from the impact. He figured he was dead. But he wasn't dead. Although, to be frank, he may have found death preferable, to be honest.
When Knuckles came to, the first thing he noticed he was somewhere soft and warm. What was going on? He took in a deep breath, trying to make sense of his location. He then immediately noticed an unpleasant smell that made him grab his nose in both hands and gag. Ewww! Where WAS he? He began looking around, and then noticed a small source of light a little ways ahead, and realized where he was.
He was in Rouge's boot.
The first thing on Knuckle's mind was escape. That HAD to be the first thing on his mind. He had to get out of here. But Rouge, unfortunately had other plans. Knuckles dashed towards to exit to the boot. As he got out of the foot section of the boot, his luck took a turn for the worst.
Rouge's POV:
Rouge had been boredly looking around the room, and as Knuckles dashed for the boot exit, out of the corner of the bat's very sharp eyes.... she saw him. She didn't KNOW it was Knuckles. But what she did see was some horrible red bug inside her boot. A smirk curled across her lips. So, the bug liked her boots did it? Well then.... if it liked her boots so much, maybe it would like her feet a lot more. She got up from the bed, and began to approach the boots...
Knuckles POV:
Knuckles suddenly tripped. There had been, what felt like a small earthquake! What was it he wondered. Suddenly, the entire boot shifted and Knuckles tumbled down into the depths of the piece of footwear, falling towards the toe section. It was then that his small stature REALLY sunk it. His entire body lay in the indentation of Rouge's big toe. His mind was filled with horrifying possibilities. Would she even feel him in there? Perhaps the more important one was... could he survive?
Unfortunately for Knuckles these answers were going to be answered very shortly, as the light began to be blocked out. Rouge was putting her foot into her boot!
