Stumbles under the bed

The boot tapped Knuckles hard enough to wind him. He gasps for air and manages to get under the bed. He looks up and see's a chaos emerald and wooped for joy!

Back on the bed Rouge's ears twitched, she guessed it was a mouse. Thinking that it might mistake the yellow chaos emerald as cheese she slumped off the bed and looked underneath...

Knuckles hid behind the emerald trying to catch his breath, but before he knew it, a gloved hand circled him. Shmushed by her hand, Knuckles tryed not to scream.

She began looking for a better hiding place.. under a pillow? No...

While she thought of a place to hide it, she absentmindedly tossed Knuckles and the emerald into the air. Knuckles felt himself dieing, this might be my last adventure... i failed .. he thought, but thankfully she had chosen a hiding spot...
